The front assiSTSensor for a Volkswagen Tiguan can be found under the left side dashboard panel on the driver's side of the vehicle. You're going to need to use a pry tool and some basic hand tools in order to get this panel off. Once You do get it off You're going to see a lot of different wires. Look for a sensor that has a yellow and a blue wire coming off of it and this will be the one You're looking for. A replacement sensor will cost between $30 and $60.
