Where does the key go in a 2018 GMC Acadia?

One can find a traditional key hidden inside of the key FOB of the 2018 GMC Acadia. There will be a square button on the side of the FOB, and a key will pop out. Then use the newly discovered key to pry off the removable housing on the driver side door handle by pushing the key up as far as it can go inside the small hole on the underside of the handle. The housing won't come off unless the key is all the way inside. Once that housing is off, a classic door lock will be underneath to use the same key to open the door.
