The 2007 Chevy Tahoe idle air control valve is located on the throttle body. The air control valve, when functioning properly, will control the engine's idle speed. It does this by regulating the amount of airflow to the engine when it is idling. There is a coil in the valve that opens and closes to regulate this air flow. When the engine is cold, the IAC valve helps to get it started. If it breaks down on You or starts to malfunction, then You are going to have to get it replaced. The cost of that, on average, will be between $120 and $500. You will likely pay about $70 for labor and anywhere from $50 to just over $400 for parts.
