The cigarette lighter fuse in a 2008 Ford F-350 can be found on the panel that is to the left of the steering wheel low down on the dash near the pedal box. The fuse will be number 12, but be sure to check the cover on the fuse panel to make sure that You are getting the right one. Frequently this fuse will blow when there is damage or contaminants in Your 12v port that cause it to short out. The fuse will also blow when there is a short in the wiring to Your outlet, or You try to use an accessory that draws too much power. Be sure to inspect Your wiring if You have this fuse pop multiple times.

Gain access to the fuse box by opening the panel below and to the left of the steering wheel. The cigarette lighter fuse will be number 12.

There is no fuse box in this location the only fuse boxes I find are under the hood driver'schide and kick panel on the passenger side. Somebody wanna be clear about the location to the accelerate plug in on the - of an F350. The above specification is incorrect
