The 2014Chevy Impala oil drain plug can be found underneath the vehicle on the oil pan. It is usually a large nut that is screwed into the oil pan so you can remove it to drain the oil out of the engine. When you are changing the oil this is how you get the old oil out of the engine before refilling it with new motor oil. Make sure when you remove it you clean the area around the drain plug and the plug itself so when you put it back on there will be no particles or debris that gets inside the oil pan. Sometimes the plug can become rusted on and it won't be able to be removed so you will have to get some penetrating oil to spray and leave it for a couple hours before trying to get it off.
