As the owner of a Ford Fiesta, You may be having issues with Your throttle position sensor, and need to know where to find it. The sensor is located on the butterfly spindle, also known as the butterfly shaft. This way, it is able to monitor the throttle's position directly. If the sensor has gone bad, it will need to be replaced. You can expect to pay between $30 and $88 for a new sensor. If You decide instead to have the sensor replaced by a professional mechanic or by a trained automotive service technician, You will need to pay out an additional $50 to $240 for labor.

You have to first find the throttle body and then check to see if a throttle position sensor is attached. That would tell you were the sensor is located.
