The Ford Ranger radiator cap is situated at the front of the engine bay below the hood. Typically, the radiator cap is right next to the front grill of the vehicle. To check if You need a coolant in the radiator, do not open this lid, but instead, open the coolant reservoir check if You can see a level marker to show that it needs to be filled. Once You flush the heater, You can detach the plug under the radiator, so be sure the car has not been switched on for at least an hour to ensure that the fluid has cooled off. The cost of the replacement radiator cap will range from $10-$15 and can be purchased in any nearby auto parts shop.

A ford ranger radiator cap is on the expansion tank or coolant reservoir. No radiator cap on the radiator itself.
