The throttle position sensor on a Ford Transit can be found on the intake manifold of the vehicle in the engine. This measures where the throttle is in Your vehicle and allows it to control the throttle body. If Your throttle position sensor is failing You will usually notice that there is a problem with the throttle and You will notice delayed input when You press down on the gas pedal. This can result in delayed acceleration or inaccurate acceleration. Usually when Your sensor is failing You will get a check engine light on at the dash because the ECU will detect a problem and alert You of it by storing a code.
