The fuse box for the Toyota Tacoma is located within the cabin, to the left of the steering wheel behind the dash. It is on the driver's side of the vehicle. Lift the plastic panel to reveal a diagram of fuse amperage and assignment behind the box's cover. The Tacoma's under hood fuse and relay box is found on the driver's side of the engine bay on the right hand side of the engine, behind the battery. A black plastic storage box contains relays for the car's heavier circuits like those used by the starter, ignition and AC compressor. The under hood diagram is found beneath the plastic cover. Individual relays cost between $60-$80 to replace, and fuses are usually under $10.
