The high voltage service plug in the Toyota Camry Hybrid is located in the trunk. To disable the high voltage You'll first need to remove the floor boards and rear deck floor box in the trunk area. Next, You have to disconnect the negative terminal from the 12V auxiliary battery. The service plug grip can then be removed by sliding up a lever and pulling while turning the lever to the left. This particular step will require insulated gloves. You should also use insulation tape on the service plug grip upon removal. The positive battery cable on the auxiliary battery can now be disconnected. After that, the service grip plug cover should be removed followed by the fuse. It is advised that You wait at least 5 minutes before You service the system.
