It's odd for bulbs to fail at the same time, but it's a possibility here. Otherwise, some reasons that the taillights on Your 2016 AudiQ3 might not be working are going to be a blown fuse or a damaged wire. The fuse is more likely; the fuse for this should be located in the interior panel fuse box, so checking's quick. Checking the wiring might be more difficult; You'll want to trace around where it leads into the lights from the chassis. Note there's another possibility here, and that is the small sensor in the Q3's tailgate is broken, which surprisingly can result in not having working taillights.

My tailgate lights all stopped working, garage hadn’t heard of it before, 2 weeks later, early December, frosty mornings, my battery failed, had new battery fitted, and strange but true, lights worked again 🤷‍♂️

To reset the brake lights or the abs sensor on the 2016 audi q3 you need to disconnect the battery and hold down the brake pedal for 30 seconds. If you dont then the abs system may not work, causing the braking to be unreliable on the vehicle. If the light is not working then you may need a new bulb or the wires have gone bad.
