As the owner of a Ford Transit, You may have discovered the sudden loss of Your dash lights. There are a couple of things that can cause that. First, You should check the wiring to make sure there are no loose or damaged connections anywhere in the system. You also may be experiencing a bad or blown fuse. Check the fuse box located behind the instrument panel to see if there are any problems. If the fuse needs to be replaced, it can be purchased from most automotive parts and accessories retail locations. You can expect to pay between $25 and $50 for parts alone. If You have them replaced professionally, it will cost another $50 to $120 in labor.

Try disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes, and giving it a chance to reset. Reconnect the battery after and see if the dash works.

1. Re-seat all the [related] fuses (2x fuse boxes behind glove box) 2. [at standstill] wiggle ignition key, because switching module may have become grimed/worn. Behind ignition barrel (entertainment stick unclips) press top+bottom to release: carefully dismantled (loose ball bearing), clean/re-grease but if copper visible then too worn, reposition bearing before fitment or [less durable] Chinese replacement £10
