When the Ford Transit does not have a throttle response when pressing the accerlator pedal it is usually due to a bad or defective throttle body or throttle position sensor. The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body that is positioned on the right side of the engine under the air filter housing. Some of the causes for the throttle body to fail can be debris, carbon, and dirt build-up in the housing with air flow. The issue is known as coking as it blocks air to travel and creates an imbalance. You can remove the throttle body and the sensor and clean them with some degreaser which can fix the repair but it could also be a defective unit that will need to be replaced.

If your ford has no throttle response, it could be the throttle body or the throttle position sensor.
