The first thing You should check with the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze's remote start failure to work is that the battery in Your remote entry key FOB is okay. These only last a couple of years, so it's definitely something that could be the culprit here. You'll want to use a 3V lithium "watch" battery (CR2032) as a replacement. If it's not that, something else to verify is that You're actually within range of Your Cruze. Too far away, and the wireless signal isn't going to be picked up. Another thing to check is the Cruze's main battery. If this is weak, it'll also result in the remote start failing to actually start. A rather odd thing, also, is that if You've already done two starts, the Cruze won't do another remote start until You've done a proper one with the key in the ignition.

The push start button on the 2014 Chevy cruze not working is most commonly caused by the key fob battery being low.
