When Your steering wheel controls are not working in Your 2016 Ford F-250 the number one reason is a failed button. If one of the buttons on the steering wheel fails it will usually make the entire control board not work and the only way to fix it is to replace the button assembly. If Your buttons are not the problem then You may need to check the wiring at the back of the head unit in the dash. Your steering wheel controls are connected directly to the stereo like a wired remote, and this cable can come loose from time to time. If both of those are fine then You will want to test the continuity of the wire that goes from the wheel to the stereo to make sure that it is not shorting out anywhere.

If the steering wheel controls on the 2016 ford f250 are not working then they may have had a wire burn out, or the buttons have come loose.
