When the wireless charging system is not working for Your phone in a 2019 BMW X5 the first thing that I suggest that You do is check the fuse to it. If the fuse to the system has failed then it will not be sending power to the charging pad and that can prevent it from working. When the fuse is okay then I suggest that You check the bottom of the panel to make sure that the wiring is connected tightly to it and that it is free from fraying or damage that could cause it to not work properly. It is also important that You use a Qi enabled device in the vehicle since the charging pad does use the Qi standard.
