There are several reasons for an AudiQ5 backup camera to stop working. One of the most common reasons is a blow fuse. If the fuse connected to the backup camera is short circuited and blows up to protect the camera, then it won't work until that fuse is replaced. Another reason is that the camera works, but the display in the car is either disconnected by a loose cable or needs a reset. You can try resetting the screen and see if it restores camera view, or check the cables connected to it, to make sure they are all in place. You might have to visit a technician to check it out, if none of these restore the functionality of the camera or screen.

If the backup camera in the Q5 stops working, it's usually due to a blown fuse or issue with the wiring harness.

That happened to me when I set my navigation to home and made a stop over somewhere and also had my wireless blue tooth on for media. When I went to reverse out of my spot the camera did not show the rear view as it normally does. I sht of my bluetooth and reset my navigation to resume to destination.Turned off the car and turned it on again. Still no rear view camera. Then when I got home in my driveway it magically worked again. I notice there is no manual switch to “show my rear view”.
