The AudiQ7's steering wheel may quit allowing adjustment if it needs to be reset. The system can become confused if the column is blocked while moving and during easy exit/entry mode. The telescoping function may remain in tact while the column will not move. On newer vehicles the servo-motor often need re-calibrated or replaced. The servo-motor is responsible for moving the steering wheel assembly and requires a "break in" period before operating without blowing a fuse. The motor may suddenly draw on too many amps or experience a surge in power that trips its function. Attempt a reset before deciding to replace the servo motor, which can also be repaired sometimes.

Your Audi Q7 steering wheel adjustment not working could be because of a bad fuse or a bad servo-motor.
