If the Chevy Cruze dashboard isn't lighting up at all, Your car might have blown a fuse. Removing the old fuse and replacing it should get the lights working again. While the new fuse may do the trick, it could also indicate a deeper electrical problem. With the car completely off, locate the fuse in question and remove it by grabbing it firmly with the fuse puller stored in the fuse box, or with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Inspect the fuse. Hold the fuse up to the light and check the metal wire for signs of damage or a break.

I had the same issue. I watchedthe videos with people having the same exact issue. At first I cahnged the fuse. Then it did it again. I not only changed the negative battery cable but the positive one also. Since cruzes have this issue. I didn't buy the cheap battery cables at the store. But I went to the dealer and got them. !05.00 bucks later and both cables changed. No more issues. We decided because its a known issue with the cruze to get the dealer ones as we were afraid it would zonk out again with cheaps ones.

This is likely a blown fuse, you will need to find the fuse box and put a new fuse into the car.
