The main issues with the Dodge Challenger and it's key fob are the key fobs battery going dead, and the key fob becoming unpaired with the vehicle. Having a key fob can allow You to lock Your car when You forgot it from a long distance to prevent any near-future theft. It also allows for the driver to signal the car's alarm in the event of an emergency. If You drive off without a key fob You'll get warning messages and chimes that the car key isn't present. You can drive until You run out of energy (gas, diesel or electricity) but if You shut off the car or run out of fuel, Your journey would be over. It won't be possible to start the vehicle again after it is shut off without the key present.

If your Dodge Challenger remote start is not working in most cases, the under-hood pin switch is broken or corroded.
