If Your Ford Edge is a bit older then it's possible that the heating element has burned out in the steering wheel. This will only be a $5 or $10 part but it's going to involve You takeng apart the steering wheel. If You have a newer model then it's more likely going to be that the fuse has gone bad. The fuse box under the dashboard is the one You're going to want to access. It's possible it could be a mechanical issue with the switch that activates it also.

The 2019 Ford Edge heated steering wheel may stop working due to a circuit fault that causes loss of power to the module
