Why is my Hyundai smart trunk not working?

When the smart trunk is not working right on Your Hyundai the first thing that You should do is check the fuse to the motor for the trunk. If this is blown or damaged then the system will not get any power and it will not be able to open. If the fuse is fine then I suggest that You check the wiring in the trunk at the motor assembly. You will want to make sure that this is connected tightly and free from any damage or fraying wires. These could cause the motor to not work properly.
