One of the most common reasons for a non-functional Mercedes Sprinter radio screen is a blown fuse. The connectors could also be needing inspection, to remove any dust and rust. Faulty wiring and problems with the ECU can also be the culprit. You can get an accurate and precise diagnosis by having Your vehicle checked by a professional. The screen itself could have failed, and can sometimes be replaced without replacing the whole system. Depending on the nature of the problem, the repairs or replacements for the radio screen can cost You around $150 to $500. You can usually save some money on it by ordering Your own parts online and having a technician do the installation.

The radio or radio screen may stop working in your Mercedes Sprinter vehicle due to a blown fuse, a troubled ECU or faulty under dash wiring, a common culprit.

Had this issue and after checking all fuses and searching forms about ecu resets. I decided to go back to the radio fuse (behind radio, must remove dash face) I took the fuse out and cleaned the contacts even though they looked perfect, replaced fuse and walah. Back to working.
