The most common explanation why the Nissan Rogue seat belt light/chime does not work is that the car has a defective sensor, belt sticking, or latch that does not work when placed into the seat belt mechanism. There is a clip beneath the seat that attaches the sensor of the seat belt to the ECU. It is likely that this clip has been loose and that the noise is not working correctly. It is also likely that there is a default error code stuck in the ECU that triggers this problem. You will use the OBD diagnostic app to link to the car to identify the source of the seat belt malfunction. You're either going to have to take it to the dealership so that they can conduct an inspection

If your Nissan Rogue seat belt chime is not working it's usually a problem with the sensor.
