The reason why the key fob isn't working for the 2018 Porsche Macan could be because of different reasons. It could be that the battery in the key fob is dead, that the key fob isn't paired right or that the battery in the car is dead. These problems are pretty simple and and very cheap to fix. The batteries in the key fob last for quite a while, usually they only need to be replaced every 3 to 4 years or so. If the key fob needs a new battery it uses a size CR2032 battery. To replace the battery, just turn the key fob over, slide the switch that takes the actual key out, leave the key about halfway in and then pry open the back with it.

The main issues with the keyless entry system on the Porsche macanand it's key fob are the key fobs battery going dead, and the key fob becoming unpaired with the vehicle.
