There are different reasons why the Volvo XC60 key fob might not be working such as a dead fob battery, a dead battery for the vehicle or maybe just a faulty key fob. If the issue is with the battery in the fob then it doesn't cost much to replace but if the issue is with a bad car battery or a faulty key fob then it can get pretty pricey. The size of the battery in the key fob is a size of CR2430. The size of the car battery for the XC60 is a Group Size 48, 760 CCA. If the key fob is faulty it can cost anywhere from $100 to $150 to replace. If the fob just needs a new battery then a new one costs less than $5 or so.
