You walk out the door, pressing the unlock button on Your Volkswagen Toureg keyleSSRemote, when nothing happens. Your doors won't unlock, and the vehicle won't start. What could be wrong While it is possible that the keyless operation system is faulty due to a bad fuse or wiring issue, the most likely culprit is a simple one...a dead key fob battery. You can easily purchase a new, 3 volt battery from any maSSRetail location. You can also get one, if You prefer, from an automotive parts and accessories dealer, although You may have to pay a few dollars more. You can expect to pay between $2 and $9 for a new battery.
