Why is the ford f350 rear end making noise?

There are any number of reasons the Ford F-350 could be making noises in the rear end, but some possible issues could be camper brackets being loose, brake caliper wear clips being missing, a loose spare tire, or a hitch in the receiver. Checking both the shocks and the springs is also worthwhile, as well as the lug nuts. If none of these seem right and You live in rugged terrain, try takeng a flashlight to look for any rocks - yes, rocks - that might have somehow lodged their way into the undercarriage of the truck. If You still turn up empty-handed, You might have to take it into a shop for inspection.

There is a notorious super duty clunk issue where the splines are loose in the drive shaft, otherwise it could be a wide variety of issues.
