When the central locking system is not working in Your 2007 Ford Transit the first thing that You should check is the fuse to the locking system. If this is damaged or has debris on it You should replace it with a new one. If the fuse is fine then the next thing to check are the door lock actuators. Start with the one in the driver's door and inspect it to make sure that it has continuity. This is the master actuator and if it has any problems the rest of the doors may not lock as well. The final thing to do is use a scan tool to check the body control module and make sure that there are not any faults with it.

There could be a stuck sensor or physical mechanism not thinking it is functioning properly, try opening the rear driver's door and working the mechanism from inside the door, then locking it up and closing the door.
