There can be many reasons for the Ford Transit 230v socket to not work such as blown fuse or relay, short in wiring or a problem with the 110v power inverter. These issues are fairly easy to resolve but You will have to go and manually check to make sure the wiring and fuses are in tact and have no signs of damage. The van does have two fuse boxes with one located behind the trim panel near the steering wheel and the other fuse panel inside the engine bay near the battery terminals. The cost for fuses and wiring is fairly cheap if You need to replace these and You can get all the tools and parts from Your local auto-parts store.

The ford transit 230v socket often does not work due to an issue with the 110v power inverter.
