The Ford Transit's remote key may simply stop working because its battery needs replaced. Remove the plastic key fob cover and pop out the 3 volt battery and replace with the same voltage. It may also be faulty because internal wires have become displaced or broken. In some circumstances the remote must be reprogRammed either by the dealer or following the instructions found in Your owner's manual. Usually, with one working fob, it is simple to re-progRam the non-working key by following the prompts in Your car's menu. Check the Transit's cabin fuse box for a blown plug connected to the module for the remote feature. It is found to the left of the steering wheel under the dash panel above the brake pedal.

If your ford transit remote key is not working you may have a dead battery in your key fob or you may need to reprogram your keys.
