The most common reason Your 2016 Honda CR-V will only make a clicking sound when trying to start it is going to be a dead battery. This can be caused by any number of things from leaving the interior or exterior lights on to the battery being faulty and no longer able to hold a charge. The easiest way to correct the problem is to get a jump start from another car. If You do this, make sure to drive the vehicle for at least 20 - 30 minutes before turning it off so the alternator has time to fully recharge the battery. Even if the battery is bad, You can still jump start the car and drive it to the nearest auto parts store to have it replaced since the car uses the alternator while running.

If a 2016 honda cr-v won't start but just has a clicking noise it is likely a battery or starter problem.
