Not being able to open the passenger door from the outside is a known issue of the AudiQ5. It is because of a loose linkage of the door to the latch, and is easily fixable. At most, You might have to install a new latch wire but that is still very easily fixable. You can troubleshoot by resetting the central lock settings from the display unit and try opening the door. If the problem persists then, head to the mechanic and get the latch connection tightened or replaced as per Your cars requirement. You can also do it Yourself, but it is advisable to get it fixed by an expert, as it will not cost that much anyway.

@Geoffrey L: Did you find any solution for this? If I unlock from inside it opens. But if i am sitting in the drivers seat and someone wants to open the passenger door it doesn't.

If an Audi Q5 passenger door won't open from the outside you will want to check the linkage from the handle to the latch.
