One of the most common reasons to find water in the passenger side footwell in Your Honda Civic is blockage in the AC evaporator drain hose. The hose can be clogged with various debris such as leaves or pebbles which will then cause the condensation from the AC to back up and leak into the cabin. If leaking is happening specifically during rainfall this could be a sign of bad or worn weatherproofing on the doors and windows. Lastly, the suspected water could actually be coolant as a result of a failed heater core. This issue will probably be the most expensive of the three to fix with parts costing $150 to $280 and labor priced significantly higher at a range of $550 to $700.

A wet carpet or water on the passenger side of the floor may be triggered by a blocked ac condensate drain tube or a leaking heater heart.
