The first thing to inspect when Your keyless entry FOB for Your Dodge Ram isn't functioning is the small lithium battery in the key FOB itself. These routinely fail, as they only have a life expectancy of a few years. Your Ram's FOB uses a CR2032 (the same as in most computers) and a replacement can usually be purchased for under $5. If it's not the battery in the FOB, it can always be the battery on the Ram itself. If this is too weak, it won't properly power the receiver solenoid to unlock the doors; check the voltage on Your main battery to rule this out. The next thing, if neither of those have fixed it, is to see if Your vehicle has loSTSync with the key. If this is the case, manually unlock and drive the Ram to Your local dealership to have it fixed.

A bad key fob battery causes the dodge Ram keyless entry to stop working.
