The dash lights in the Volkswagen T5 may stop working because the VW's dimmer switch has been turned down. Locate the button, usually next to the headlight switch, and make sure it is not responsible. Secondly, dash lights are powered by both fuses and bulbs that can blow. To review fuses, check the VW's #32 fuse located in the box under the van's cupholder. This is responsible for the dash lights only. If the van's headlights are operative but the driver's information center is dark, it may be due to a blown #32 fuse. Lastly, bulbs housed under the T5's gauges may need to be replaced. Remove the driver's panel by unscrewing and pull out bulbs to check for filament damage or faulty wiring.
