What features and upgrades differentiate each of these Dodge Charger models? Let’s review each one in a bit more detail.

SXT – $29,995 – $33,595

The Dodge Challenger SXT comes standard with a 3.6L V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission in the classic Chrysler Torqueflite line-up. Historically, Torqueflite has been lauded as the best automatic transmission, even alongside big names like Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce. Car enthusiasts may be delighted by fine details like the option to add an engine block heater, helping in the event of cold weather and reducing wear-and-tear.

GT – $31,995 – $34,995

The GT takes the SXT’s offerings and levels them up for a flashier, sportier ride. This car comes standard with 20-inch wheels and performance tires geared toward speed as well as a higher-quality speaker system for a more entertaining ride. With a 276 W amplifier, 8.4-inch touchscreen display, bright pedals, heated mirrors, and performance steering wheel, this car is designed to be more fun.

R/T – $36,495 – $39,995

If the GT stepped up the entertainment factor, the R/T elevates the sport performance game. This car comes with a 5.7L V8 engine that can hit 160 mph and goes from 0-to-60 mph in a mere 5.4 seconds. Enthusiasts love the electronically active-controlled exhaust, which adds to the fun factor of your sporty drive with a deep rumble. The R/T also comes with a performance steering wheel and paddle shifters for greater engagement with gear shifting and a more intense driving experience.

The R/T is also available in a Scat Pack version, which adds some extra flourishes to push the entertainment even further. The primary speedometer in this car goes up to 180 mph, which is telling of its heightened potential for performance.

Different driving modes can be configured in case you aren’t always in the mood for a sporty, speedy experience, or even if there are multiple drivers of your vehicle who each have their own preferences. A heated steering wheel and front seats make things more comfortable, while dual rear-exhaust pipes and a satin black spoiler add to the sporty feel of this car.

Scat Pack Widebody – $40,495 – $46,495

We just covered the R/T Scat Pack, but the Wide Body adds a whole new level of performance and thrill to the Dodge Charger. The wider body means a more spacious interior, rendering you and your passengers more likely to bask in the glory of the car’s performance. A power sunroof option is available to help make the ride even more pleasant. Some showy features, like a black spoiler, 392 Hemi badge, and performance grille help add to the car’s flash factor.

SRT Hellcat Widebody – $69,645 – $72,095

At the top of the Dodge Charger line, the SRT Hellcat Widebody blends the best of the best in performance, comfort, and technology. Gorgeous leather seats and panel trim, as well as a leather-wrapped shift knob, add some luxe finishes to this car, alongside dark engine aluminum accents. LED lighting for passengers and driver alike add a measure of convenience and ambience to the finish.

But it’s not just about looks; this car has a 200 mph speedometer, indicative of the higher speeds it can reach. This car comes with a 6.2L Hemi SRT V8 engine that runs 2.1 seconds faster than the standard SRT and can power up from 0-to-60 in a mere 3.6 seconds. A gorgeous air induction hood helps keep air circulating and the engine cool, extending its life and performance.

Of course, a car that can go this fast needs performance breaks to match and keep it under the driver’s control. Four-piston ultra-high performance rear brakes along with six-piston front calipers and two-piece front brake rotors help keep this car tamed.
