The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash tested the 2020 model with great results. Overall, they gave it four stars, but it got all five-star ratings for each of the side-impact tests.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) ran their tests as well, and the Ranger received an overall ‘Good’ rating. The headlights were ‘Marginal,’ however, due to their fairly low beam visibility on curves and straightaways.

Ever since it rolled onto the market in 1948, the F-150 has served as the full-size pickup truck of choice. Through the years, it has only gotten more powerful and even more utility minded.

Across all the options, the heavy-duty chassis and sturdy suspension can handle whatever you throw at it, including payloads of up to 6,288 pounds in the F-450. Furthermore, you can tow between 14,000 to 24,000 pounds, making it easy to bring your equipment to the job site or trailer to the campsite.
You can customize these trucks to your liking by selecting from all their cabs, boxes, and wheelbases. They also let you transform your build into a dually if you wish. You can even upgrade from the 6.2L Flex Fuel V8 to the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel or gas-powered 7.3L V8.

When tested by the NHTSA, this Ford truck model received a four-star overall safety rating. While still good, the three-star rollover results likely brought its total score down. The F-350 and F-450 were not tested. The IIHS has not tested any of the Super Duty trucks.
