The 2000 Honda CR-V has a max towing capacity of up to 1,000 lbs, or just a little under. The engine on the car is able to generate between 700 to 800 foot-pounds of torque, depending on which version of the engine You have. The tongue load on the car iS-100 pounds as well, making it quite good for its size.

The 2000 Honda CR-V has a towing capacity of 1,000 pounds. Then engine torque is 146-hp @ 6,200 rpm. Honda did not classify a payload for the 2000 model. The tongue weight is 100.
