The 2001 Acura RDX will have a maximum towing capacity of 4500 pounds across all trim levels. This an impressive amount of hauling ability for a mid size suv. Other similar vehicles in it'S-Class only haul around 3000 on average. The tongue weight capacity is going to be 300 pounds so You'll need to keep that in mind when picking out a trailer. This vehicle came factory standard with a 3.5 L V6 engine and they made available no other engine options for this year. This engine is going to have a torque output of 245 lb-ft.

The single trim on the 2001 Acura MDX has a towing capacity of 4,500 pounds and the engine torque is 245 lbs.-ft. @ 3,000 rpm. Acura did not provide a payload for the 2000 MDX. The tongue weight would be 450.
