The 2002 Honda Odyssey Outback uses SAE 5w-20 full synthetic oil. The 3.5l engine has a capacity of 4.5 quarts. Oil is important because it is a lubricant for the engine parts, it helps protect the emission system, and it can enhance fuel economy. The cost of an oil change for Your Odyssey is between $50 and $60 for labor and between $80 and $90 for parts. You should get an oil change every 3,750 to 7,500 miles. You will know that it is time for an oil change if You notice increased engine noise, shaking while idling, excess vehicle exhaust, an oil smell inside the vehicle, and of course if You see the Check Engine or Oil Change lights come on.

Would it be a good choice to use 5W-30for this engine? Hot weather temps always above 18° C, sometimes all the way up to 40° C
