The 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander has a base tire size of P225/60R16 for the LS. The XLS and Limited trim levels have size P215/55R17 tires. The largest available tire size is P235/45ZR18. The wheel size on the LS is 16" and the size on the XLS and Limited is 17". The tire pressure recommendation can be found on the door jamb. For the 16" wheels, it is suggested that You keep the tires inflated to 29 psi for both the front and rear. The 17" wheels have a recommended pressure of 32 psi for all tires and the 18" wheels have a recommended pressure of 35 psi. The aforementioned pressure recommendations are for cold tires but the actual pressure may fluctuate as the tires heat up and cool down.
