The trunk cargo are volume for a 2005 Toyota Highlander is going to be 39.7 cubic feet. This will expand to 80.6 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down or removed. This vehicle is extremely good on cargo area and You'll be able to take it on many trips and take the whole family with You. It may not look like it on the outside but given it's spacious room it would be great for takeng on cross country road trip. It's going to have a payload capacity of between 1,425 to 1,840 lbs depending on trim level. You should have no issues given the capacity is so high.
