The 2008 Nissan Versa came equipped with a 1.8L 4Cylinder engine. This is the only engine available on this vehicle as Nissan made available no options for anything else. This motor is going to need to run on synthetic 5W-30 motor oil no matter what climate You live in. The oil capacity is going to be 4.1 US quarts including the filter. This capacity is juSTSlightly over one gallon so for a full fill up You're going to need to purchase a 1.25 gallon jug. The oil drain plug will require a 14mm socket to remove it and You're going to need to use 25 ft-lbs of torque.
