The 2010 Dodge Challenger with A5.7l engine has an oil capacity of 6.0 US quarts (5.7 liters). It is recommended to use SAE 5w-20 engine oil. Oil is important because it is a lubricant for the engine parts, it helps protect the emission system, and it can enhance fuel economy. The cost of an oil change for Your Challenger is estimated at $160. You should get an oil change every 6 months or every 8,000 miles, whichever comes first. Signs that it's time for an oil change include increased engine noise and knocking, an oil smell inside the car, shaking while idling, more mileage than normal, and of course if You see the Check Engine or Oil Change lights come on.
