The 2010 GMC Terrain had a standard 2.4L 4Cylinder engine but additionally there was an upgrade available to a 3.0L V6 engine. The standard motor will have a capacity of 5 US quarts while the V6 will heed to use 6 US quarts to fully fill it up. Both of these measurements are when the filter is included. You're going to need to use synthetic 5W-30 on this vehicle no matter which engine model You have equipped. The oil change is going to need to be done every 7,500 miles and this vehicle will have an oil life indicator keeping You aware of this.
