The engine oil capacity for the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder 5.6l engine iS6.9 quarts (6.5 liters) and 5.4 quarts (5.1 liters) for the 4.0l engine. Nissan recommends using the engine oil with the viscosity of SAE 5w-30 or the API certification mark for the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder. Beware however as getting motor oil changed too frequently wont do any good. Change the oil only if it benefits the vehicle. Non-synthetic oils should undergo replacement at 5000km interval. While getting motor oil changed, make sure filters for the same are also replaced. They are the first line of defense against impurities and protect the component. Motor oils for different components have different ratings and viscosity. Use with extreme care in case You are changing them Yourself.
