The 2014 Acura RDX has a towing capacity of 1,500Lbs and a torque of 251 lb-ft. The vehicle has a payload of 1,118 to 1,144 lbs and a torque oF-150 lbs. Towing capacity is the weight that can be towed behind a vehicle such as on a trailer or an RV. Torque is the amount of turning power that a vehicle has. Payload is the weight that a vehicle can carry inside of it. The tongue weight is the downward force that the tongue of the trailer puts on the hitch. You should always be safe when towing such as doing safety checks before driving. Always check the tires, the brake lights and that the trailer is secured correctly. When driving it is important to brake sooner and make wider turns at corners.
