The 2014 Kia Forte has either a 1.8 L 4Cylinder or a 2.0 L 4Cylinder engine that both need SAE 5W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil. The capacity for the car for both engines iS4.2 quarts with a filter and they both use 25-32 ft/lbs of torque for the drain plug. You have to use oil because it will help keep the engine clean and prolong the life of the vehicle. The oil will go bad after a while so it needs to be changed in the Forte it should be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles and the filter should be changed at the same time. The cost of an oil change if taken to a mechanic is anywhere from $40 to $60 in labor costs.

The 2014 Kia Forte 1.8L and 2.0L motor oil capacity is 4.2 quarts (3.9 liters). For best performance, the recommended engine oil is the 5W-20 for all climate temperature.
