The 2015 Honda CR-V has a towing capacity of up to 1,500 pounds. The tongue weight is 150 pounds, which is all You should put on the hitch on the rear. The payload capacity is 1,012 pounds and that includes passengers in the vehicle. It can tow that much with the 181 pound feet of torque that comes from the four cylinder engine. The low tow rating is usually only enough to tow a small fishing boat or a quad on a trailer behind it. If You need to tow larger things I recommend that You get a vehicle that has a larger engine and also a ladder body frame. A truck style frame will always be better for towing than the unibody that You will find in a CR-V.

The 2015 Honda CR-V has the ability of pulling 1,500 lbs. Of trailer weight, though it only produces 181 lb-ft. Of torque. With a limit of 150 lbs., the tongue for the 2015 CR-V is not even able to hold an average size adult male.
